From Vancouver International Airport (YVR): Canada Line SkyTrain to Downtown ($9.30 CAD with new fare, 25 min). Uber/Lyft $25–40 CAD. Taxi $35–45 CAD + tip.

To BC Place: Walk from most Downtown hotels (5–15 min). SkyTrain to Stadium–Chinatown station. Uber/Lyft from anywhere in Vancouver $10–20 CAD.

TransLink (SkyTrain, bus, SeaBus): $3.15–$4.45 CAD depending on zones. Excellent system.

Local Tips & Cultural Notes

BC Place is in Downtown Vancouver — you can walk to the stadium from most hotels. This is rare for a World Cup venue.

Vancouver’s sushi is considered some of the best in North America. Don’t miss it.

Weather in summer is mild (65–75°F / 18–24°C) with little rain. Enjoy the mountains and waterfront.

BC sales tax (GST + PST) is about 12%. Like Ontario, it’s added at checkout.
